After years songwriting and set to put a band together, Manel Melo and João Tenente had more than enough time to get inspired and develop their songwriting skills that gave birth to the self entitled JANICE EP, with Simão Brás Afonso on the bass and Filipe Collaço on drums. This EP revealed seven straight-to-the-point-pop-rock songs, not showing off too much trickery and well settled through the harmony of Manel and João as a result of long years of musical partnership. “Janice” was finally edited in March 2017 by Colado and followed by a remarkable live debut in Musicbox Lisboa.
The first LP was recorded in Estúdios Cuca Monga by Diogo Rodrigues (Luís Severo, GANSO), and produced and mixed by Guilherme Tomé Ribeiro (Salto). The album is set to be edited during the first half of 2019.
